We are seeking a proactive Broker Support Associate for an international player in the insurance market to assist the team with administrative tasks, client relations, and the development of tailored insurance solutions within the (London) insurance market.
In this role, you will work closely with brokers, underwriters, and international colleagues and gain broad exposure across the financial lines. You will assist in preparing quotes, policy documentation, and endorsements and ensure that everything is processed administratively with precision and in compliance. Additionally, you will play a role in maintaining client and underwriter relationships and contribute to commercial initiatives.
You will be part of a dynamic, international environment where initiative and independence are valued. We are looking for a meticulous and communicative entry-level candidate with an affinity for insurance and an eye for detail.
You are skilled at setting priorities and switch easily between different tasks and stakeholders. Fluency in both Dutch and English is essential for this role.

What will you do?

  • Assisting brokers in preparing quotes, policy documentation, and endorsements
  • Managing and maintaining customer and file records (including correspondence and meeting minutes)
  • Maintaining contact with customers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders
  • Processing and verifying risk information in internal systems (including premiums and payments)
  • Identifying and implementing changes during the term of policies
  • Monitoring premiums, collections, and administrative follow-up
  • Preparing presentations and providing support for new and renewed business (binding authorities & open market)
  • Analyzing and maintaining data and reports for existing portfolios
  • Preparing and monitoring bordereaux and other reports for the markets
  • Actively contributing to relationship management and commercial opportunities within the network
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and relevant laws and regulations
  • Participating in team and operational meetings and contributing to efficient collaboration

What do you offer?

  • At least 1 year of work experience or a completed internship in Financial Services, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Basic knowledge of insurance and related processes, or the ability to quickly learn these.
  • Meticulous, organized, and skilled in administrative tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work independently and set priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Team player with a proactive and customer-focused attitude.
  • Able to handle stress and work under deadlines.
  • Proficient in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
  • Affinity with international work environments and the (London) insurance market is a plus.
